Pioneer Academics announces the publication of Volume Seven of The Pioneer Research Journal! This multidisciplinary collection of undergraduate-level research by outstanding high school students from around the world features studies in a wide range of academic disciplines in STEM, the humanities, and the social sciences. We are proud to share the work of these young authors, who make meaningful contributions to the scholarship in their respective academic disciplines while demonstrating the exceptional research and writing skills fostered through their participation in the Pioneer Research Program.

Published annually, The Pioneer Research Journal showcases the most outstanding original research conducted by high school students guided by world class professors under the auspices of Pioneer’s rigorous academic system. Papers were selected for publication only after passing a double-blind anonymous review by one of the 47 members of this year’s multidisciplinary panel of college and university faculty. Once the review process was complete, only 2.7% of the papers generated in the 2020 academic year were selected for publication in the journal.

The papers included in this edition of The Pioneer Research Journal explore important questions in a wide range of academic disciplines, running the gamut from computer science to philosophy. As diverse as the fields of study may be, however, the papers all share the same rigor and depth that define the very best of academic writing and research. We are so proud of the Pioneer Scholars whose work is featured in this volume, and we hope that you will find it inspiring and illuminating.
