The most rewarding aspect of applying to Pioneer was definitely the interpersonal relationships I formed with my professor as well as the other international students in the class. Being a part of the Pioneer program allowed me to interact with a professor at the collegiate level which was completely novel to me and something that I otherwise would not have had the access or opportunity to do. Also, sharing a classroom with other students who were as passionate about our topic, neuroscience, was also incredibly rewarding.
