I would give a couple of tips to future Pioneer scholars. First of all, if you wanted to do this just to put this on your college application, that it won’t probably work for you because it’s a challenging process. If you don’t do the research paper, if you don’t like your research topic, and if you don’t like the idea of devoting your summer to do research, then it will probably not be the best time for you. That is why the opposite works as well. They can really sense if you’re passionate about something and they encourage you to pursue your interests. You’re there to give them what you have and what you want and then, in turn, the Pioneer team is there to provide you with resources and support to have a great experience.
