Developing an original Pioneer research topic: A Scholar's Story
My Pioneer experience changed me both personally and academically. Personally, I think I learned so much about being able to manage time well and also being able to really persevere and stick it out because there are definitely times when you think you put together your best work. And your professor will have criticisms or questions that you realize you completely overlooked. You need to not give up at that point, but rather, remind yourself about why you’re passionate about the subject and why you’re doing this research. Always bring yourself back to that.
