“In Pioneer, I studied film noir, and wrote a paper comparing the narratives Alfred Hitchcock and David Lynch. It was my first real gaze into film as an art. Since then I knew it was what I wanted to pursue, and since began my experiments with Film Studies and Filmmaking. In my college application I described my Pioneer experience as the start of an ongoing dialogue, and it was.”
