Synopsis: The Bubonic plague was the most lethal pandemic documented in human history. We decided to focus our report on studying the role that social classes, culture, and plague prevention methods played during this pandemic outbreak. In order to construct our paper, we researched many elements, such as the most and least effective methods of plague prevention, different methods that governments used to intervene and their attempts to eradicate the Black Death, the effects of the plague on different social classes and religious beliefs, and the social and economic changes that came about as a result of this widespread disease.
