About the Scholar: Pioneer Scholar Chuning is from Beijing, China, where he attended The Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University
Chuning designed a method of reformatting videos for compatibility on different devices that improves upon the popular video resizing method known as “seam carving.” Seam carving is an advanced image resizing technique that preserves the quality of the original image. Its use in video retargeting, however, is time intensive and creates easily visible discontinuities in the retargeted video. Chuning’s video retargeting method, an exciting contribution to the technical practice of video resizing, resulted in a 93% reduction in processing time from seam carving, as well as a higher level of consistency from frame to frame.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
