Synopsis: Through the valuable experience provided by Pioneer Academics, our team, the Oak Park Eagles, was able to work as a team to conduct professional research and data analysis, and use these findings to present a cohesive research paper on the transformation of medicine from the medieval plague to the current Coronavirus. In our project, we explored the many facets of past epidemic diseases, through which we found connections, and were able to understand more of the pandemic we currently face. Our team heightened our findings and brought together our research by asking experts of medicine about their views on COVID-19.
