Synopsis: Which is more important, money or health? Sweden’s Covid-19 strategy gave birth to different perspectives. Instead of going into quarantine, the Swedish government followed an unusual method and requested citizens to “take responsibility” and do voluntary social distancing in addition to the standard precautions taken all over the world. While the infected rate was significantly high in the first quarter of the year, as the number of intensive care beds increased, the infected number decreased. In addition, the benefit of the strategy was seen in Sweden’s economy, as the shrink in GDP was lower than the UN in general.
