Biography

Lucia Murillo is responsible for International Outreach at Pioneer, focusing on the development of new partnerships outside of the U.S.

Prior to Pioneer, she pursued a career in market research, specializing in consumer products in Asia. Lucia also worked for organizations such as the International Olive Council and Poland’s Ministry of Economy. In 2008, she moved to Beijing from Spain to act as an investment officer at the Spanish Embassy as part of the Ministry of Commerce’s Internationalization Program for Young Professionals.

Lucia received her double bachelor degree in Law and Business from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and her master degree in International Business Management from El Centro de Estudios Economicos y Comerciales.

From her own personal experience, Lucia is aware of the value that the right mentor can add at a personal and professional level. That, and her firm belief in education as a force for change, drew her to become a valued member of the Pioneer team.
