Developing an original Pioneer research topic: A Scholar's Story

One of my favorite stories about Pioneer is that I got reunited with my elementary school classmate, which is just mind-blowing. After I got into Dartmouth College, one of the program coordinators contacted me and told me there was a student who also wanted to apply to Dartmouth and see if I could give him any advice. She pulled us both into a group chat and I asked him his name and it turned out that we went to the same elementary school and we were reunited after seven years! I didn’t even know he was also applying for colleges and he was also a member of Pioneer. That’s pretty amazing!
