I learned frameworks of research in the Pioneer program that I could apply to virtually any topic and that will serve me for the rest of my life. I think a lot of my foundational understanding of what research is, is either bland reading hour after hour after hour in a library cramped with books or wearing white coats and running test after test in a lab. It seemed very monotonous and dry. But after going through the program. I really found how dynamic research is and how fun it really is.
