Pandemics and Globalization: Evaluation of the UK and South Africa’s Economic Policies During the Covid-19 Outbreak and Their Future Economic Status

Synopsis: As a team, we were able to demonstrate our research skills and passion about the topic we were researching about. After taking 5 online courses from our professor, we were ready to start writing our research paper. Our aim with this project was to evaluate the economic policies and economic status of both the UK and South Africa during the 2008 crisis and Covid-19 crisis in order to predict how these countries are going to overcome this crisis and also how severely they will be affected. While we were writing our paper, we learned how to evaluate, use, and even plot graphs, analyze data such as unemployment, GDP, market prices and learn how to conduct an elaborate research and present it.
