Synopsis: We studied “Pandemics Epidemiology: Societal Impacts And Strategic Response” on COVID-19 in the United States of America. This included hospital resource use, infections and fatality rates, USA compared to the world, economic impacts, treatment and vaccine development, and so on. Our project was on the USA because of their rapidly growing number of cases and because our team is from a neighbouring country, Canada. In the end, we found numerous mistakes in how the USA, the most powerful country, approached the pandemic but have provided a possible future model. Hopefully, the world is better prepared for the next pandemic.
